i would really like a iron man arena match where 1 player will have to duke it out, against 7 people in a arena match, like a free for all, everyone for themselves, then u move on matches if u win that one just like tombs but you're not in teams... you'll have to go through 20 matches or more before u can be delcared the best, then when u win your name get's announced and you get 20 fame, 2 fame each round win and 20 fame for completing all the matches. At the end you get 1 chest that drops 3 max gold items. This really would be good, it would create a pvp fight for on your own style, to see who really is the best.

I saw something kinda like this in the shiverpeak arena. Take a look at the time. They staid at full health for quite a while althought they could do very little damage.

Edit: I posted pictures but they got resized all wrong. The basic jist is that an ele monk stayed alive for almost 5 minute at full health while battleing a team of w/mos and eles.

So just a disorganized free-for-all luckfest?

No halfway competent player would do anything but just run away and wait for everyone else to kill themselves. Fame and a name recongition for this?

that would be soooo freaking cool, and it would give people who arent pvp a chance to win, and i am sure people will say something about it not being balanced, but there is no class that cant be taken out by another one, so i am totally for this

and whats more, put some one them smasher things in there too, add a little bit of random danger to it

Good idea, but doesn't fit to how guild wars plays out. People have roles and work together. This game wasn't meant to play solo. Supporting team mates is what it's about, not going in with your w/mo and seeing how many necros/mesmers/monks you can kill easily.

What you could do is, have something like the Roman Colosseum, except kinda small, so there would be no running around, just mind-less, kill-all chaos

The maps should still be reasonable size, there's a class or two that rely on range. This'll solve the stalemate problem: each player picks a hench before entering mission. That way a healer can actually do damage with the help of a warrior, a mesmer won't die so fast with a healer, etc. Also, morale boost per PC kill will encourage quick action. The one who just waits it out gets no morale.

or how about if someone just stands and wait's at the side, there will be enemy mesmer's *npcs* who cast's a spell on you if u stand waiting somewhere for 1 minute
